Madame Touré Massogbè Diabaté receives the insignia of Officer of the Order of Agricultural Merit from H.E. Jean-Christophe Belliard, Ambassador of France to Côte d’Ivoire.
The African Business Roundtable (ABR) is delighted to celebrate one of its distinguished leaders, Madame Touré Massogbè Diabaté, ABR Country Director for Côte d’Ivoire and Chief Executive Officer of Societe Ivoirienne de Traitement d’Anacarde, who has been awarded the prestigious Officer of the Order of Agricultural Merit by the French Republic in recognition of her outstanding contributions to agriculture and national development.
The decoration was presented during a distinguished ceremony held at the Residence of His Excellency Jean-Christophe Belliard, Ambassador of France to Côte d’Ivoire, in Abidjan, in the presence of senior government officials, business leaders, members of the diplomatic corps, and invited guests.
The French Republic conferred the honour in recognition of Madame Diabaté’s exemplary career, her outstanding contribution to the development of Côte d’Ivoire’s agricultural sector, and her role in strengthening agricultural and economic cooperation between France and Côte d’Ivoire.
In his remarks, Ambassador Jean-Christophe Belliard praised Madame Diabaté’s remarkable achievements and lasting impact on the agricultural sector, noting that the distinction celebrates both her professional excellence and her commitment to fostering stronger bilateral relations.
Expressing her appreciation, Madame Touré Massogbè Diabaté said:
“I fully appreciate the honour bestowed upon me through this prestigious distinction. I wish to express my deep gratitude to the French Republic as well as to His Excellency the Ambassador of France, Mr. Jean-Christophe Belliard, for this mark of trust and esteem. I simply say thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Also paying tribute, Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani, Côte d’Ivoire’s Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Food Production, commended her outstanding record of service to the nation and her contribution to national development. He described her as a credible entrepreneur who has successfully combined business excellence with social responsibility, adding that her achievements have helped project Côte d’Ivoire’s image beyond its borders.
The evening featured cultural performances and musical entertainment before Madame Diabaté dedicated the honour to her family, saying:
“I dedicate this distinction to my family, to my husband, who has always supported us all. Without their support, I could not be where I am.”
